Caramel Chocolate Chip Skillet Brownies



Enjoy the deep flavors of caramel and chocolate in these rich brownies made in a skillet. It's great to share with family and friends or just to enjoy on your own.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and grease a skillet

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter

Let it cool slightly

Whisk in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined

Add the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder

Stir until just combined

Fold in the chocolate chips

Pour half of the batter into the prepared skillet

Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the batter

Pour the remaining batter on top and drizzle the remaining caramel sauce

Using a knife, swirl the caramel sauce into the batter for a marbled effect

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs

Let it cool slightly before slicing and serving

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp ground cumin

Rub spice mix on both sides of tofu and vegetables

Popsicle Painting



It's fun to paint and creative to paint on rocks with this activity. The kids will enjoy making their own popsicle sticks and then using them to hold their painted rocks.

Ingredients:

  • Popsicle sticks
  • Assorted non-toxic paint colors
  • Paintbrushes
  • Water cups for rinsing brushes

Instructions:

Lay the popsicle sticks out flat on a surface to get them ready

Put small amounts of paints of different colors into their own containers

Put the paintbrushes into the different colors of paint and start painting designs on the popsicle sticks

Let the painted popsicle sticks dry all the way through

Once they are dry, use glue or hot glue to attach small rocks to the painted sticks and use them for rock painting

Easy Peanut Butter Popsicles



These vegan peanut butter popsicles are a delicious treat without any added sugar. Creamy and satisfying, they're perfect for a hot day.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chopped roasted peanuts optional, for topping

Instructions:

Put peanut butter, banana, almond milk, and vanilla extract in a blender

Mix everything together until it's smooth

Place the mix into popsicle molds

Place a popsicle stick in each mold

If you want, you can sprinkle chopped roasted peanuts on top

It needs to be frozen for at least 4 hours or until it is solid

Run popsicles under warm water for a few seconds to get them out of the molds

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional

Instructions:
