Princess Cookies



Make magical and delicious princess cookies for royal-themed parties, birthdays, or a fun baking adventure with the kids. These colorful and sparkly cookies will add a magical touch to any occasion.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Food coloring pink, purple, or your choice
  • Edible glitter optional
  • Sprinkles and decorations pearls, tiara shapes, etc

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper

In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar until light and fluffy

Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well to combine

Gradually add the flour and salt to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms

Divide the dough into separate portions, depending on the number of colors you want to use

Add food coloring to each portion and knead until the color is evenly distributed

Shape each colored dough portion into small balls or your preferred princess shapes

Place the shaped cookies on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between them

Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden

Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely

Once the cookies are completely cool, you can decorate them with edible glitter, sprinkles, and other decorative elements like pearls or tiara shapes
